Beautiful property in a great surrounding. Check in was good, Melissa was very helpful. The room was very compact an the bed a standard double. The room was exceedingly warm even with the windows open and the radiator off. The lighting was very dim to the point I had to use the light in my phone to read the tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom was spacious however the bath/shower was very high and anyone with minor mobility issue may struggle to get in. We wanted to eat but we're advised they couldn't fit us in to the restaurant until 20:30 (it was 17:30). Normally I would wait but as I had to eat by a certain time I couldn't. We had a bar meal which was good, however the bar area was crowded and it felt like others were joining me. Check out was quick and easy.

My forth visit to this Hotel. I love quirky and this definitely it, our bath is in the bedroom. Warm,clean and very friendly. If you like something different come and stay at our special getaway place.

Not sure if we were allocated the correct room as smaller than expected even though I had compared with the hotel site directly. Ok for short stay i.e. 2 nights. Better lighting needed for getting ready for special occasions e.g wedding. Also a full length mirror would be good. Restaurant, food good if a little bit pricey. Lovely breakfast spread but perhaps a wider variety of juice please - cranberry. Staff attentive, accommodating and friendly.

Staff were wonderful. Property was unique but overfilled with stuff. The room we had was terrible. Bed far too small for 2 people, pillows hard, only one bath towel, lighting that worked in a strange way, lack of outlets. Worst was the noise from a very loud deejay at a party that lasted very late. Sleep was nearly impossible.
